Registration

Registration for the 2024 baseball season is now open!

All players planning to participate in Babe Ruth and Legion baseball in Valley City this summer must complete the registration forms below by May 1, 2024.

- Payment must be received by the first day of practice. Payment can be mailed to the address below, paid via PayPal, or given to a VCBA board member. Please note which player you are paying for.

- The VCBA has grant money available for families that need help paying for registration. Please contact a board member for more information.

- Registration fees help cover the cost of player equipment and gear, including a shirt, hat and uniforms. The VCBA will also supply a personal batting helmet to players that need one.

-  All families will be required to work one shift (usually a doubleheader) in the concession stand this summer. There will be a $100 buyout option (payable at registration) for families that do NOT want to work a shift in the concession stand. If you are doing the buyout, please add $100 to the registration fees listed below. If families volunteer to work more than one shift, they will be paid $25/game, or $50 for a doubleheader after meeting their one shift obligation.

Babe Ruth: $250 (March 1-May 1)
Legion: $300 (March 1-May 1)
Concession Stand Buyout: $100 (optional)

Youth Baseball Opportunities

VC Blues – 10U and 12U Cal Ripken Baseball

The VC Blues are a parent-run group fielding both 10U and 12U Cal Ripken Teams. This is a competitive summer team that will play 4 tournaments and a travel schedule against teams from Fargo, Jamestown, Grand Forks, Wahpeton and more. Interested players must attend a tryout session and be selected for the team.

Tryouts will be held April 3. There is no tryout fee but you must pre-register for tryouts at the link below. Players who are selected for the team will pay a $200 registration fee.

Valley City Parks & Rec Baseball

The Valley City Parks and Recreation fields travel baseball teams for ages 10-12. These teams typically play in the Three Rivers League against teams such as LaMoure and Oakes. Teams will travel out of down during the regular season. VCPR does not take teams to the state tournament.

Registration fee is $110.
